The 6th International Ethics Summit was held on June 13, 2016, at Istanbul Bilgi University’s santralistanbul Campus under the theme “Surviving the Flood.” The summit brought together prominent figures from the national and international business world, academia, and legal circles, providing a valuable platform for dialogue.
Since 2010, the Ethics and Reputation Society (TEİD) has been committed to guiding the understanding, adoption, and dissemination of business ethics principles and policies, aiming to make them the cornerstone of corporate culture. This mission was at the heart of the summit, which examined ethical crises experienced by leading global companies and their far-reaching effects.
The summit explored strategies to prevent ethical crises and manage them effectively when they arise. Experienced executives discussed key considerations for leaders during crises, as well as how corporate ethics policies should be reviewed post-crisis. The sessions also addressed post-crisis communication and reputation management, providing participants with concrete examples and fresh perspectives on these critical topics.
